Environment Management Appliance with Internal and External Sensors

The Weather Goose family of rack mounted environmental appliances contain an internal web server this unit operates completely stand-alone with no supporting PC or client software required. They include internal sensors for temperature, humidity, air flow, light level, and sound level, plus three analog input ports. Additionally, an internal 5 port serial port hub allows for the addition of up to 5 external sensors.

The user needs only a Web Browser to view the environment conditions. The unit creates internal HTML (Web) pages, e-mail and paging alerts. A full SNMP MIB is included. Multiple units can be accessed and managed via a single interface using the Watchdog Console software (sold separately). A small plug-in wall transformer provides power. Unit is a 19 1-U high rack mounted panel.

The SuperGoose II model has a built-in LCD display and an audible alarm buzzer. The LCD display cycles through sensor measurements for easy on-site monitoring. Along with email and SNMP alerts, alarms can be set to trigger the audible alarm.
