Retrofit Branch Circuit Monitoring for PDU’s, RPP’s and Panel Boards

Managing individual circuits and subfeeds is critical to the reliability of your data center. Branch Circuit Management (BCM) and Subfeed Circuit Management(SFCM) are familiar applications for new data center installations, but what about existing facilities with thousands of distribution and subfeed circuits already in use? How can the benefits of Circuit Management be introduced to those seamlessly and without interruption? 

Power Works BCM offers a complete Circuit Management Retrofit Solution available to any RPP, PDU or other panelboard or subfeed application. Our project specialists can assess your facility’s exact needs and configure a solution that provides Circuit Management capability equal in performance to a factory integrated system without interruption to your loads. Because of the diversity in today’s facilities, our Branch Circuit Management retrofit products were designed to offer a broad range of mounting options without the use of drilling or intrusions into your existing equipment beyond the introduction of split core current transformers (CTs). The split core CTs are clamped onto energized branch circuits without interruption to your critical loads.

Power Works BCM retrofit solutions are custom packaged for each installation based on unique site conditions. The basic components are prewired and packaged in a special purpose enclosure complete with the required mounting hardware.

Where a facility allows branch circuits to be interrupted for installation, Power Works BCM retrofit products are available with the same solid core CTs used with leading factory integrated Circuit Management products. Both our solid core and split core designs allow individual CTs to be field replaced.

Power Works BCM retrofit solutions, like our factory integrated products, provide the same ability to actively monitor the load current of each of your circuits and report this information to you for cost allocation or load protection management.
