Cool Shield Aisle Containment System
Cool Shield is the most flexible partition system to contain the air in cold aisles and/or hot aisles of a data center. The core of our system is our proprietary mounting channel which can be used to affix vertical PVC strips, polycarbonate panels, acrylic sheets or metal panels.
A combination of materials can be used in the same solution. Aisle entryways can be enclosed with strips, sliding doors or hinged doors. Strips, acrylic or steel panels can form a barrier from top of cabinet to ceiling. Alternatively, polycarbonate or acrylic panels can be used horizontally across the aisle. Our unique channel also allows the containment solution to easy adapt to obstructions such as cable trays, pipes, columns and more.
Cool Shield keeps the cold supply air from mixing with hot exhaust air. Whether used for cold aisle or hot aisle containment, this will allow more control over temperature being delivered to your servers. Customers have been able to significantly increase CRAC unit set points to realize energy savings of 25-40%.
